Nowadays, food is almost always produced with a high degree of automation. The Swiss company Kaiser engineering develops and builds, among other things, systems that are used in the production of well-known cheese manufacturers. Automation and machine vision components from Fabrimex Systems AG, SVS-Vistek, Effilux and Matrox Imaging ensure high-performance systems that enable error-free food production worldwide. The installed machine vision systems read two codes on each cheese package at a belt speed of around 1 meter per second and evaluate up to 20 additional texts, dates, logos or dimensions.
